whirlpool thermal fuse blown at begining of cycle

HELP...blew the thermal fuse today and started smoking.  replaced with new wire kit and fuse.  blew right at begining of cycle again...smoking and pop, with flame. Not sure where to look now.  The first time there was a little black specifically at the fuse, now a little larger area.  Not sure what to do now???

It would appear you have a direct short circuit in a wire or component.
Check all wires to ground.
Replace the fuse.
Unplug the drain pump,motor and water valve.
Check the ohms on these parts.
If they are in spec and not grounded then start the cycle.
Plug up one at a time starting in sequence with the drain pump then water valve then motor as each one comes up on the timer sequence to see which is blowing the fuse.
