LG washer jerks left then right

this washer will jerk the basket left then right then rotates then stops .... then will "LE" will come up...

Tub spin free when empty....  

so stator looks good test 7-10 ohms. rotor looks good ... Hall sensor magnets do not go all the way to the end of the plastic tip ... have you seen that before?

You have a bad hall sensor and needs to be replaced.

Down at the hall sensor, take your test leads to check the 2 following circuits. 
White to Blue=10k ohms. 
White to Red =10k ohms.
If any of the circuits is open, replace the hall sensor.

With the power switch on but DO NOT PUSH THE START BUTTON!!! All connectors in place.

Grey to White = 10 to 15 vdc
Grey to Blue = 10 vdc pulsing when rotor is turned by hand.
Grey to Red = 10 vdc pulsing when rotor is turned by hand.
