Off Topic: Kitchen Sink Replacement

I've relied on this forum for appliance repairs.

I'm about to replace our kitchen sink from a two basin to a one basin style and need advice.

Anyone know of a equivalent forum for plumbing and remodeling?

I'll ask the question here on the off chance someone can answer: Can single-drain, single basin sinks ever have a garbage disposal attached? Or, and this is my guess, that only two basin sinks can make use of a garbage disposal.

Sure, you can install a disposal on a single sink.  If the new sink is deeper than the old one you may have to lower the plumbing in the wall.  I've seen them where the drain outlet was too high and the disposal becomes part of the p-trap and is always full of water.
