GE Side by Side Fridge

This GE is a fairly nice unit and needs a repair.  Let me know if I am on the right track or what else I should look for.  Freezer side works great, evap fan is working well.  Compressor and condenser fan kick on with no problem.  But, the fridge side doesn't get nearly cold enough.  It blows a little bit of cold air into the fridge when the flapper is set on its highest setting.  But, it does seem like more cold is blows into the fridge when the flapper is on its lowest setting, odd.  I am guessing it is a flapper problem.  If anyone has any input on what else I should check or tips on what to do with the flapper please let me know it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks Guys.

On this fridge the damper controls the freezer temperature. It is normal for there to be less air flow on a colder setting for the freezer. Put a thermometer in the freezer and fridge side, set both controls in the center and let it run for 24 hours.  You should have about 0°F in the freezer and 37°F in the fresh food.

The fridge side is only getting to about 45.  I don't have any clue where to start here??

Try to reposition the probe on that damper control where the air from below won't hit it directly and maybe the damper won't close as fast?
