Frigidaire Refrigerator not cooling anymore :(?

Went on vacation for 6 days and came back to a warm refrigerator.  

The compressor NEVER turns on, that and the condensor fan...not even a twitch.

Cleaned the condensor and condensor fan.

Tried turning the defrost mode on and off (by pushing light switch either 5 times or 6 in 6 seconds)

Took the panel out of the freezer to check for frost buildup, none to be found.

Checked the temp. controls by turning them off and resetting back on "3".

There is no "hummm" or "clicking" noises coming from the compressor.

The evaporator fan IS running.

All this and the compressor and condensor fan don't do anything...no movement, no noises, and not getting warm to the touch.

Help please, we need cold food

Wow the compressor and fan never turns on but the evaporator motor is working. Puzzling no doubt.
That has to be in the defrost control. Probably some board runs this ice box. I am gonna go out on a limb and say your control board is fried.

looking at the wiring diagram if the evap fan runs tyou have power to the adaptive defrost control cause it turns the evap fan on and off, but this same control also turns on the compressor and condensor fan, so i'd be looking at changing the adaptive defrost control, its located in the control housing on the top left in the fresh food section

Your adaptive defrost board is most likely bad. It is part # 241508001 for your model. On many Frigidaire units, a standard defrost timer can be plugged into the board harness in place of the board as a temporary cooling fix.

I cannot understand why they put that electronic board up into the cold damp refrigerator.
