Maytag Neptune

We have recently moved into a new home.  We bought the Maytag Neptune in 2008 and it has now decided to slide across the floor when in the spin cycle.  It shakes badly during the spin cycle.  I can feel it clear in the living room.  Is there anything I can do to rememdy this?

Maybe the shipping brackets were installed for the move and then not removed?  Some floors are not supported well enough for a frontload washer.  It's a fairly easy fix if its on the ground floor with a crawl space. Add some extra floor joists and maybe a support post. Not so easy if it's on a second floor.  Vibe-away pads may help, part number VA1.

maytag came out with a updated control board that starts the spin cycle slower and distributes the close before fast spin only solves the problem in about 50% of washers. contact maytag you may get it for free.
