Haier Dehumidifier

Dehumidier is about 5 years old. Running fine when we unplugged it and moved to a new location, plugged in and ran about 20 seconds and quit. Appears to have no power indication at all. No lights on the touch pad at all. It is not the outlet as I tried other outlets. Took apart case and looked at circuit board, wiring etc. No indication of burnt wiring or hot spots on board.

If you look closely you should see a fuse in the unit.

What would the fuse look like? I assume not like an automotive type fuse. I followed the 3 wires off of the power cord to various places where they plugged into a board. Thanks for your help.

Thank you, thank you. I will take it apart on my day off and check the fuse with my ohm meter. I will keep you posted. I wonder if those fuses are replaceable, or if they are soldered to the circuit board?
