Frigidaire 5 Beep Error code every 60 seconds

A little more information would be nice.

This is your freezer?

Is there anything else wrong other then the beeping?
Have you checked the temperature with a thermometer to see how cold it is?

I had one like this a while back. From what I recall the 5 beeps is 'Door Ajar', but the door was closed.

I ended up replacing the control board.

I looked up your model number and the part number for your control it is 241739702

Thanks for the reply from both of you.

Whirlpooltech:  brand new.  both sides at there respective factory temperature.  Everything is working great!

AJ: This wouldn't suprise me that the controller board is bad.

FWIW: I didn't call the appliance co. because I thought this was the signal that temps in both sides haven't reached factory settings.  Now that Monday is here, I'll be making the call at 8:01 AM.

Did you get it repaired under warranty? What did they do to fix it?

I had to reboot it (unplug it while it was not running and plug it back in).  Thanks!
