Does Anyone make a extension hose for their portable

 I have a customer that needs an extension hose for their portable dishwasher... does anyone make a extension for them?  I guess I could cut one and use a 1/2 copper tube and some clamps to make one... but if there is a cleaned look of longer one about 60"

I have never seen a factory extension for them.

Use brass hose barbs coated with RTV sealant and small hose clamps. Let the RTV cure before running water.

Same here. The ones I have seen were the ones I had service calls on for them not pumping out the water.

The splices make bottle necks in the drain hose and a nice little edge were the splice is for things to catch on.

Why do they want them longer? Let me guess...

They bought a portable dishwasher, but they don't want to wheel it over in front of the sink to hook it up every time they want to run it.

They want to leave it at the end of the counter and run longer hoses over to the sink.

I'm I right?

If that is the case they could just as well have the drain and water plumbed to it like a built in dishwasher. I have done that for people before.

yep you got it . also to add they are in a wheelchair So it is hard for them to move it...

Chances are you can cut and splice the hoses and it will work fine for years. Just remember if you ever have a problem with it draining to check that splice in the drain line for blockage first.
