My toaster won't give me my hand back

I tried doing a Google search for "Toaster hand eating" and all it gave me was to unplug the thing.  Well I have unplugged it but it refuses to let go, and the smell of burning hand is kind of making me want to go to a good steak restaurant.  I also don't remember it having glowing red eyes or the ability to spit fire, but then I didn't spend alot of time reading the manual.

Can someone here please help me?  My arm is starting to go numb and my baked potato is almost ready.

 What kind of toaster do you have?
I ask because I have been having trouble with my own toaster too.

Nothing like the trouble your having yet, but maybe I should watch out.
