I have looked to this forum as a "goto" place when I can't use tech support, via my contractors' tech support.

Our company is a two person operation, and is almost 2 yrs old. My background is from IT Networking and ElectroMechanical Controls for Commercial HVAC Systems, as a technician.  I left that world because of the brutal nature of big industrial Controls Contracting.

Appliance repair, believe it or not, is more fulfilling on a daily basis.  I, no longer have 10 bosses telling me what should be "top shelf" items.

AJ, I would pleased to join this group

Hi...I'm an appliance tech in Alabama and Florida.  Been in my own business for just about a year.  I began as a tech 16 years ago but then took 13 year off in another line of work.  Been back at it for about 18 months and enjoying it.  I'm an authorized EMA service provider but would not say that I am an expert in any one thing at this point.  Could you please upgrade my account?

Thanks,

Beau

Hi AJ: Would like to be considered for the PART forum also.  I work on all appliances here in my home town in the Great White North as I am the only tech in these parts.  Although I don't post often I enjoy reading your forum and often absorb info from the threads to help in the repair of home appliances I am trouble shooting.  Must admit the info learned has saved me many hours of trial and error.
