Plastic Dishwasher tub

I'm working with a buddy to repair his dishwasher, that the heater got knocked and then burned a hole in the plastic tub. I have had success repairing a galvanized DW tub using two part brown epoxy glue in the past.

I'm thinking of cutting a plastic patch and trying the glue again.Its worth a try, otherwise its time to pay up and go shopping.

Do you know of any plastic repair kits?
