lg dryer flame will not stay lit.

The dryer will start and igniter come on, flame will light but only stay on for 5 sec then goes out.  This unit was converted from Nat to Lp gas.  New Machine trying out after lp changeover.

Brand new?  Look for a loose connection from the conversion, if you don't find one, call for a sevice tech, it's still under warrenty.

You have a gas valve problem.  The gas valve is defective.  Check the gas valve with an ohm meter on both connections.  You should get about 1.8k to 2k ohms.  It's possible that the valve may show a good reading but later on the valve will shut down because of an internal short.
