Kitchen Aid Diswhasher - Power but no lights on touch pad

No lights on touch pad, dishwasher does not operate.   The unit has power, I tested with volt meter. 

Part #8530995 was replaced a couple of months ago, unit worked fine for about a month then quit again.  Repair service used a remanned part.   I think this may have gone bad again, but not sure how to test.  I think it may be a victim of water intrusion.  Wires on the j14 and j18 look like they have a bit of corrosion.  The LED at LE074 looks like water got in there.  There looks to be a water spot.  Any advice would be most appreciated.  I don't want to throw parts at it.  If it is water intrusion, any tips on how to stop?

Replaced the interface board and the plastic tray that holds the boards.  The last repairman totally screwed up the tray, broke a couple of the screw holes.

Turns out the thermal fuse failed a continuity test.  I'll get a new fuse on Monday, and that should do the trick.
