Kenmore stackable fills and spins at the same time

I have a Kenmore full size stacked unit that is making crazy.This is what it does........It fills,all levels........stops filling then agatates,stops agatating,then pumps out for 5 sec.then pumps and fills at the same time.(The pump outruns the fill but still filling).Starts to spin(still filling and pumping)Stops spin,still filling,stops fill,then agatates(rinse cycle).Stops agatate,drains for 5 sec,then starts to fill at the same time.starts to spin,still filling.Spin stops,still filling.Timer is now at off position but still filling.Didnt wait to see what was next..........I'm thinking timer,but its not cheap.

How high is the drain hose off the floor?
Is the drain hose JAMMED tight into the drain?

No,its just hanging on the drain like normal.........

take the drain hose off the pump and see if the little red flap is on there

took pump off and checked for flapper.Didnt see one.(seems like this style doesnt have flapper)When to parts room and found same style pump with flapper.Installed pump....same thing.Noticed that when I change water temp to hot/cold,it stops filling during spin.Hot and cold valves are on!Weird,weird,weird.I think this is gonna be a tough one!

If I blow into water level hose,it stops filling also

Plugged in air compressor and used air gun to blow thru little hole in outer tub for pressure switch hose.Cut off about 1/4 inch of hose on each side to get better seal................same results

Just noticed lid switch is jumped..........would this make any difference?Also changed fill valve assembly........same result

You are having multiple functions out of sync.
The timer provides power to these components.
Unless you have a defective wire harness with bad insulation jumping power to other wires,your timer is bad.
Order through this site.
If it fails to correct the problem you can return the part.

Has that lid switch got 4 wires or 2?
