HI I need to replace the solinoid on the ice door, so I tried to remove the outer trim piece but it is not removable so it is now broken, all the other ge trim pieces for the dispensoer area pop on and off. So I still dont know how you are supose to get in there??? or put the trim piece back?   Help !!!!!!!!!!  jpg

Well that is for a different style monogram type model. I do have the GSS service manual:

There are three tabs at the bottom of the dispenser control panel.  Push those tabs up with a small phillips screwdriver while pulling out from the bottom.  From there it's easy. 
From looking at the diagram, it looks like you have to completely disassemble the door to replace the dispenser trim.  Some of these doors are foamed in place.  Look behind the door gasket. If you don't see any screws, you're screwed.  You have to buy the whole door to replace your broken trim.
