After replacing the control board and wax motor because the door would not unlock, now the door will only lock just before the spin cycle where it use to look before the wash cycle. Is is now normal as I know Maytag had a problem with the control boards and wax motors.

The fact that the door is not locking right away is not a big issue, the new software should lock the door sometime prior to the first pump out of the wash water. Is it working fine other then that change?
