install icemaker from a different refrigerator

I have this working Frigidaire refrigerator that is ice-maker ready. I called Frigidaire and they don't have the manual for the IK4 Ice Maker Kit called for in the manual.

I have 2 kenmore refrigerators with good icemakers but bad compressors. I would like to move one of these icemakers into the Frigidaire.

Is that a workable idea?

The ice makers control the harvest and fill so all you have to do is match the wires and mount the ice maker. White common, black hot, green ground, and tan for water. Most harness' simply pop out and yall can use your own harness from the ice box if it is the modular type. If it is the compact type you is gonna hard wire the harness in.

I can not find any info on your model number or that icemaker kit number, but it's going to be one of these two icemaker kits.
