GE ice box high side line repair

 I been working on an ice box. The steel line coming off the condenser had a hole in it. I took some pictures:

More from the swamp:
It looks ugly but both lines are free from each other and repositioned out of the water area.

I first tried this stuff, didn't hold:
Notice the dates in the photos? I put that epoxy on there last monday and waited till saturday morning to charge it up. When it got to full charge I heard a hiss. Either it was too old or the pressure was too much. Stuff works well in evaporators not so well on the high side of a crappy GE design.  :tickedoff:
