Frostless upright frezzer 2000

Anyone know haw to enter defrost mode on this unit? Has Electronic Control....
It should also be in the Service Manual of which I have not been able to find...

Nice try.... Thanks.... that gave me model # listings but nothing on the procedure to enter defrost mode.....
There is no defrost timer on this system.... Been replaced w/electronics lol.....

Activation
Press and hold Freezer Temperature
UP(WARMER) key while pressing the fresh food
temperature DOWN (COLDER) key 5 times within 6
seconds.
Deactivation
Press and hold Freezer Temperature
UP(WARMER) key while pressing the fresh food
temperature DOWN (COLDER) key 5 times within 6
seconds.

Yes, I did find several posts w/respect to the procedure you described however, There is NO Freash Food item to push...LOL   Only controls are up & down temp buttons and readout from 0-7, 7 being the coldest selection. This is a frezzer Only... No frige.

Service Diagnostic on Models with Deluxe
Electronic Controls
Initiate Service Mode
1. Set the temperature to 0°F, then press and hold
both the up and down arrows simultaneously for 5
seconds.
2. When the diagnosticsmode is entered, the number
“88” is displayed and an audible chirp is sounded.
The status information will be displayed for 3
seconds and then return to the diagnostics
indicator.
3. To check the door switch contacts, press the down
arrow. If the freezer door is open, the letter ”O” will
appear in the display indicating that the freezer the
door is open and the door switch contact are closed.
If the freezer door is closed, the letter “C” will
appear in the display indicating the door is closed
and the door switch contacts are open.
4. To check the thermistor, press the temp alarm
button. If the thermistor is operating properly “--” will
appear in the display. If the thermistor is shorted,
“S’ will appear in the display. If the thermistor is
open, “O” will appear in the display.
Note: A defective thermistor will cause the
compressor to run continuously.
5. To exit the service mode, press and hold the
up and down arrows simultaneously for five seconds
ormore.

Hey, now theres some useful info... LOL thanks
Already tried the two button thing but to no avail....
I resolved the issue a few weeks back.... Unpluged unit 48hrs cleaned drain of trash and instructed cust Not to toss large bags of product into bottom of unit cutting off free airflow through EVP.... LOL
So it was either clogged drain w/ice build up to point of air flow restriction or product loading issues by cust....
