Kenmore icemaker does not make ice

I have a Kenmore top/bottom fridge.  The icemaker does not make ice.  I while back before the icemaker stopped working it was making a noise sounding like a frog, if that helps any.

I have a Kenmore top/bottom fridge.  The icemaker does not make ice.  I while back before the icemaker stopped working it was making a noise sounding like a frog. I took the water filter out thinking it might be clogged or not enough water pressure, that didn't help.  I don't hear water going into the icemaker.  What controls the water going to it?

was the noise diff coming from IM, if so sounds like drive motor in the module went bad, jumping T to H should start a cycle to check it out. If no water to unit & lines are all clear might need new inlet.

You may have to hold the light switch closed to activate the jump mode. Designed to not drop ice while door is open.

I took a reading on the motor it was 8Kohms.  I think that's good.  Where is the inlet located?

The ice maker adds water at the end of harvest for 7.5 seconds. Their is a small copper plate behind the main drive gear. A contact rubs against that plate like a bumper car does at the fair. Over time the arcing fouls the plate and no water will be added or tons of water will be added. Nothing else controls the ice production. I am leaning towards a bad ice maker. If you have ice in the mold but none in the bucket then bad ice maker. If you have no ice in the mold or bucket bad water valve. I imagine you have both a bad water valve and ice maker.
Since that ice maker is not supposed to making any noise.
