whirlpool cabrio dryer- "f2" code?

Need help with "f2" code. I was getting power and panel worked fine but when I hit the start button nothing happened. Took off the panel and found the plastic piece that holds the start button had snapped. Fixed that and put everything back together. panel looks fine but when I hit the start button it sounds like it is going to start... but then stops & gives the "f2" error code. What does the "f2" code mean? And what is the next step?

f2 is a defective keyboard/keypad issue you may have another button stuck or shorted
