How to program the code on the touchpad?

I have the mid-level programming guide for maytag but I don't know how to program the touchpad type. Can anyone help?

Touch screen type is what I mean. This one has a fancy touch screen on the outside door.

To access the main control menu, press any of the four touch pads located on either side of the display.
Then, touch the pad next to the desired option or user setting to access the various features.
NOTE: Press only the touch pads next to your selection on the display screen, not the selection itself.
Upper left keypad = UL
Lower left keypad = LL
UR =Upper Right keypad
LR =Lower Right keypad
Express Fill Cubes Light Light Sensor

Thank you, that was exactly what my tech is looking for.  Our customer compaint is that the food in fridge is getting frozen. My tech says that the damper within the ice maker assembly may not be working properly.   Thank you again.
