I have an over the stove microwave oven that does not heat and the turntable does not rotate.  Both problems happened at the same time.  All the digital controls work just no heat.

The unit is 10 years old.  is there a common issue that would cause the problem?

Most likely a door switch. I would need the model number to look it up.

The model number is A001520AW.  If it is the door switch do you have to pull the whole unit down to replace it?

No, everything is accessible while it's mounted above the range. Look between the door and control panel for the model tag and get the number from there.

I looked on the wiring diagram and the interlock (door) switches are the best place to start. There are three micro switches you'll need to check. Remove the top grill and the screw holding the top of the control panel. The control panel will come off so you can get to the door switches.

If one is bad replace all 3.
