Talked to a tech on the phone who thinks since it pumps water in and out that the motor is fine. He thinks its a timing switch ..... any thoughts?

You need to find a new tech to talk with on the phone, that one don't know what he's talking about.

I had a co-worker use the LG line for tech support and all the tech kept on doing was having him buy more and more parts. It was stupid. I wouldn't put too much trust into the LG tech support line myself. Much rather go through this site personally

still have not fixed my issue. I have not found any wires that are of a bad connection. I have looked through them many times. If no one has any more tips for me, i believe it is time to wave the white flag. This thing has become more trouble than it is worth. I have never been impressed with it ability to actually clean the dishes and it seems to take so long to do it that it can not be very efficient either. I believe it has come down to a bad motor but im not positive. If that is the case, im reluctant to replace the motor due to the fact that all i keep reading and hearing about is how many different issues this machine has. If i sink money into a motor what will be next. Thanks for the advice anyways and i will be using this site in the future.

I have seen the LE many times. most of the times it is the wires. I would check each wire one at a time from the control to the motor.. if all check OK then check the windings of the motor , then check the hall sensor.....
