Whirlpool dishwasher making buzzing noise

Hi Folks,

A couple of days ago my Whirlpool DU1055XTVQ0 Dishwasher started to make a buzzing or humming noise while in operation.  The dishwasher runs fine, dishes come out clean, water drains fine........it's just this noise that continues, though it has lessened a bit.

A search here and in other places suggested small particles could be caught in the grinder and/or filter.

Would someone very kindly let me know how to fix this problem.  Given than I am a novice at appliance repairs, instructions and a diagram would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.
