« on: April 14, 2011, 04:24:27 PM »
Having trouble with my Cabrio washer model no WTW6400SW2.It starts, fills goes thru the wash cycle, drains, spins and then it goes into the rinse at no 21 on the display down to no 13 on the display and then goes to spin and stalls out, nothing just hums.I have to unplug the washer to get the lid to open and then it has the rinse water left in the tub. What do you guys think is the problem here?

Thanks guys for the info and help.I put the washer into the test mode as you said and it is showing F-83 code, which is the lid lock. But the lid does lock or it would not do anything, would it?As I said it goes thru the cycles, except it stalls out in the spin cycle.I don't underestand what is going on with this thing? Thanks again guys for your time and help.Do you think I need to change the lid lock?

The lid lock not only locks the lid but it sends confirmation to headquarters above and engine below. Remove the lid switch assembly and look for corrosion at the connector.
