Kenmore front loader dead in the water

Been working on a front loading washer made by Electrolux today. Using the tech sheet I cannot get it to do any of the tests in the tech sheet. It this going to be the control?
The washer was holding a lot of water so I removed the coin cup and got out 40 cents. I gotta say that hose is one hell of a bugger bear to re-install. Like I say I cannot get the washer to do any of the tests in the tech sheet.

I snaked the drain hose out the back to drain the liquid. I totally expected that to fix the problem.  Looks like somebody monkeyed with getting the controls out but failed to do so and damaged the control panel. One of the slots on the control goes to a user interface and that cable is missing. or maybe that is meant to be that way. Any thoughts?  More photos:

If I remember, the user interface is all switches on the front of the control panel with tons of small a slew of small pieces that will fall out when you seperate it, but no ribbon connectors.  I envy you being able to drain it outside!   I agree, one of the worst hose setups to work on.

I did a service call on one of those recently with similar issues. The people had dogs and the filter was clogged not letting it drain all the way and it even leaked a little out of the door. Worked fine after cleaning hairballs out of the trap.
