I have this same dryer and it is not heating.I have checked the heat element,the hi limlt thermostat and the thermal cut off all are good.The exhaust thermistor does not show any readings.Could this be what is causing it not to heat?

So is the model number of your dryer also WED6400SW1

The first thing I always check on any electric dryer that runs, but does not heat is the voltage to the dryer. Do you have 220-240 volts at the dryer? If one leg is missing you could have only 110-120 Volts and this could let the dryer run and not heat too.

Yes the model of my dryer is WED6400SW1.I went and checked the incoming voltage to the dryer plug and it is 220 vac.
