Ice maker in Kenmore side by side fridge not making ice

Not getting any ice. The water line that runs along the left side appeared to be frozen, I thawed it a bit with a hair dryer but didn't get too crazy for fear of ruining something. My efforts made no difference. I didn't look into anything else.

Any idea what might be wrong with this ice maker? I had thought that maybe the freezer is set too cold but I've had difficulty finding what the proper temp should be.

  Freezer temp should be around zero degrees, give or take a few depending on how hard you like your icecream. You should completely thaw the water line. It's ok, just don't melt the plastic.
