GE dishwasher won't spin and drain

Hi all,

We haven't used this GE GSD2230Z02WW dishwasher for a quite. Today when we use it, the spraying arm won't spin even though there is power and water is filled. I also noticed that the water is not drained. I clean up the drain hole to see if it helps but it does not. Please advice.

Remove the toe-kick panel from the lower front.
Turn off power to the dishwasher.(IMPORTANT)
Leave the door unlatched.
Lay on the floor and view the motor straight ahead and center.
Use 2 flat blade screwdriver to turn the motor cooling fins counter clockwise until the motor shaft breaks loose and turns freely.
The cooling fins are observed from the end you will be facing.
After it breaks free,resume power and start the D/W.

sometimes u can boil some water and dump in dishwasher and let set for a while to loosen it up. I was amazed at such an easy fix for one that had been sitting for a while.
