This ice box has been thawed out with an ice pic

Over the weekend I worked on an ice box which had been disabled from the stab of a sharp ice pick. Many a mini fridge has met an early death by these. Bought some cheap epoxy from Wally. Did the repair sat afternoon and charged it this afternoon.

I'm guessing it won't pass the test of time. I stopped trying to epoxy leaks years ago. Sooner or later oil from the system always works the epoxy loose and your back to square one.

R-134a is not too expensive. Plus it has been deemed safe enough. A little shot every few years won't be so bad. It only holds 4 ounces. I am gonna call this a test. I read the lable actually and the strength is to 750 PSI so we will see how long she hold and repote back latah Mr WT.
