Frigidaire FW975ES0 washer overflowed, what had happened, was we have a private water well and our water pump in the well quit, I replaced the water pump, but the washer was doing a cycle and my wife forgot to turn it off while i was replacing the water pump in the well, after I turned the water back on . the washer began to overflow, I took the top off of the washer today and checked the water level switch, by unhooking the hose and putting some pressure on it and turned the water on and it began to fill and put some more pressure on the hose and the water stopped ( now on the washer tub where the level hose hooks up ,when the water starts to fill the tub, is the water suppose to go up the hose, or is there a diaphragm in what the hose attaches to on the side of the tub.) now after doing this the washer now works, but the water level seems a little high to what the switch is set at. should I replace the water level switch ?? or is there something else needs to be replaced ?
