kitchen Aid Dishwasher and drain cycle

The dishwasher was not draining. I cleaned it out and checked for clogs. Then i replaced the pump motor. It is now draining but slow as a snail. I also think the chopper is not working. Does the drain cycle operate on both the chopper and the pump motor (like a dual stage)?

If you can get the correct model number I can tell you more to check. Without that, check that the drain hose and air break (if you have one) are not clogged or kinked.

Thank you!  We found 3 pumpkins seeds in the tube, right at the very beginning.  Cleared it out and now it is working fine!  Thanks to you and everyone here who saved our family a ton of money and a big headache.
