Tools that make your job easier?

In Another Topic PARTech asked me about a hose clamp tool I mentioned.

You can see it in the top of this photo. It's just a couple lengths of some square tubbing with a couple holes drilled in the ends for some bolts to go through.

I made it to pinch off the larger 'tub to pump' hoses on the front load washers. I use the regular automotive type pinch off tools shown in the photo for regular pump and fill hoses, but found that the handles got in the way when using them on front load washers.



I use the large spring clamp to help hold door boots and there retaining cables in place when I replace them.

The cut up spring is from a top load Maytag washer. I use it to hook the other tub springs from the top of the washer and pull up on them to remove them. Seems to work better for me then trying to use the Maytag spring removal tool from the base of the washer, especially on the rear springs.
