Ouch thats a pricey thing ! I'll consider replacing the washer now. Thanks for everyones help :)

Be sure to check what weverette said to check too.

Make sure the motor connector is on good and that the capacitor(if it has on) is also connected at the motor.

Recheck the new coupler you installed to make sure it's on correctly. The part of the coupler that goes on the motor shaft needs to be flush with the coupler. Same with the part of the coupler that goes on the gear box. Make sure they are on the shaft all the way.

I'm really not sure how old it is. I'll have to go over to her house and check the coupler to make sure its all the way down the shaft . Not sure what it means if its not all the way down on ?

Metal sleeves in the couplings should be flush with their respective shafts.

check plug on motor & make sure none of the connectors got bent when plugging it back in.
