Kenmore Range Overheating

Model # 911.6244190, this unit would heat to approximately 150 degrees higher then the thermostat was set for and would cycle at that higher temperature. This range uses a mechanical thermostat so the control and sensor are all contained in the same unit, so once it was replaced, it began to operate as expected.
