Wow, there seems to be a lot of interest in this meter. Yesterday I received one of the Fluke 113 meters I ordered. You can see a photo of it next to my old faithful Fluke 16 on our facebook page.

The Fluke 113 we are giving away is a brand new one, the photo of the one on our facebook page is one I ordered for myself to try out. I can tell you that the New Fluke 113 has the same quality feel to it as my old Fluke does. Seems Fluke has not changed the quality of there meters over the years like some other companies have.

Feel free to post as many times as you like in this topic. Your name will only be used once in the random drawing.

Good luck everyone.
Hope you find our site helpful.

I would love a new meter, because I really don't like licking my fingers and touching the wires to check for electricity.

So the power company pays you?  With all the 'extra' power you have, you feed back into the grid?  :)  Or are you just like Uncle Fester?

I am helping our Non-Profit Ministry with a project on our property. We recently took over an 8,000 sf facility and we are doing a renovation in house. The Fluke 113 Multimeter would be helpful with the wiring we are doing right now.

Thanks!

The most expensive meter I have ever owned was $39.95. Not bad for 31 + years. Would be nice to have something more than a basic unit. Especially with all the new electronics involved.

Hi;
I've had a lot of meters in the past. Some good and some junk. I've always heard the Fluke meters were the best and I'd like to try one.
Crossing my fingers.
Thanks.

The Fluke 113 looks awesome and would certainly help me out with repairing my Frigidaire washing machine. :D[/glow]http://

I would like a Fluke Multimeter because I could use it in a variety of circumstances. It appears to be a quality device as opposed to the cheap but functional multimeters that exist. I also think I lost the red and black multimeter I acquired at a garage sale.

 O0  Well this Fluke looks better than what I have had over the years, so yah, that would be a good birthday present as Feb 16th I just turned the from plain jane to  full fledged senior a 65.  I even get a pensionm.   So am still keeping up here,  used to do competer 12 calls a day,  but things that fit into my shoes have slowed down a lot, so still can get up to 5 calls completed, and no call backs.  Other than some manufacturers not keeping up with some of the newer high end appliance parts availability,  things are ok, for this old guy accross the border in Northern Canada. -41 here  this morning, but spring is on its way, as I can hear it coming.  Brents Appliance Repairs for 29 years now.

I would use the Fluke 113 to measure amounts of voltage, resistance, or capacitance when needed or to detect circuit continuity.
