I am trying to figure out where the defrost time is located and the defrost heater. Also how to get to them.

On this HMG model I found (at sears and rareback), the timer is beside the cold control NUMBER 12
Usually their is a hole under the control console about the size of a dime. You can manually advance the timer with a flat blade screwdriver through that hole.

The timer may also be inside the left rear leg support behind the refrigerator.
The defrost heater and thermostat are under the freezer floor panel.
You have to remove the door hinge on the center divider to access the heater/stat and fan motor.
