It wont agitate or enter spin cycle. No smell but there is a slight noise but its not loud. Any suggestions?

Something such as a thong may be trapped in the pump...the motor can't turn. I recommend taking off the lower panel and removing the pump hoses for a look. You may have to siphon out the water first to avoid a flood. If the belt won't turn, the motor can't run.
