Estate Washer Leaking
« on: March 20, 2008, 07:50:14 PM »
Model #TAWS800JQ1, the unit was leaking when a large capacity wash cycle was selected, but worked fine on smaller cycles. The problem turned out to be a tear in the top of the tub most likely the result of a nail or other sharp item getting stuck through one of the basket holes and scraping the tub until it finally wore through. A quick tub replacement (and if you are changing the tub, don't forget the gasket ) and this unit is back in business.
