Leaking Water from Steam Vent

LG Dishwasher LDF6920 has a steam vent on the bottom surface of the door which discharges a little condensation during normal use.  Last two uses, it has discharged several ounces of water through the vent.

Can't find anything in the owners manual or online, and haven't come across a local (Nassau County, NY) appliance shop other than Sears who repairs LGs.

Any suggestions or other help would be greatly appreciated!
