No parts you need for this transmission are available. I prefer Speed Queen for new. Closest to Maytag as far as heavy duty.

I guessing my choice it to replace the transmission or replace the washer. Bumper, just replace the motor couples years ago, and the water pump year ago.

I have not had the chance to look at the speed queen yet, have found the store.

1) On A612 it said large capacity, what would be consider large capacity today?

2) In top loads washers, I don't see lint catcher anymore have they gone away?

I have a lots questions, but I will try keep them reduce to small number.
