Glowplug works but no gas when set to 350 - spectra xl44

When trying to preheat at 350 the glowplug gets red hot but no gas is released to ignite. I can increase temp and gas will come out. Same thing if temp is lowered back to 350, as it cools you hear plug energize, it gets red no gas, have to bump temp to get to fire.

Your glow plug is weak. Too weak to open the gas valve. When you bump it you help it open. Watch these videos:

Awesome. That makes perfect sense. I was testing everything under there. I think I can pick that up locally and be cooking tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
