kenmoore icemaker (no ice)

Im trying to repair my brothers ice maker. I jumped the unit to go through a harvest cycle,but nothing happend. So I replaced with a new icemaker. Still no ice. So I thought it was the valve. I jumped that and water came out, and the unit started a cycle. We thought that it would start working. It didn't. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Bruce

The freezer needs to be 0-5 deg. F. for the ice maker thermostat to close and the ice maker to cycle on it's own.

If you are sure the freezer is cold enough the only other part you have not replaced would be the control board that is mounted on the side of the freezer wall behind the on/off switch, part # 4389102

Clearing up any cobwebs lint or other air restrictions around the condenser will get sometimes er going.

Try the cleaning before you even do any tests. Testing a dirty condenser means nothing.
