Kenmore front load washer

i have a Kenmore front load washing machine. it is an 2008 model. i had it in storage for over a year right after i bought it.i have been using the washing machine for about 9 months now. it has started to not rinse nor spin. after doing a load of laundry , there is still sudsy water in the bottom of the tub. i can hear the pump kicking in to drain out the machine , but it still has water in it. i took the back off, removed the drain hose from the bottom of the tub , took the hose outside and ran water from the hose through it to make sure it was not clogged. any help will be greatly appreciated.

i took the back off, removed the drain hose from the bottom of the tub , took the hose outside and ran water from the hose through it to make sure it was not clogged.

It may not be completely clogged, but it could be partially blocked. There is a hose (part # 134455900) that has a built in 'drop cup' that is designed to catch coins and other objects before they can enter the pump.

If that hose gets full enough of coins and stuff it can restrict the flow of water to the water pump, part # 137108100.

I often find this hose just packed full of change.

You will need to remove the front of the washer to get to that hose and water pump.
