I have a Whirlpool Calypso washer model # GSX9885JT1 that is over filling.
I ran the tests and was convinced that the water fill valve had stuck part# 8528052
After installing the new valve the washer continues to fill regardless of water level setting. GGGGRRRRRR.......

Next I checked all the tubing for the water level pressure valve. I found no leaks and made sure there were no obstructions. I am now $100 in and a repair call will be pushing $200 so we are rapidly approaching the cost of starting over with a new washer.

Any ideas out there?

When you replaced the water level switch did you pump out the water ?
