Kenmore Elite quiet pak 9 HE4 gas dryer

I wonder if any of you have worked on these dryers?..We bought it new a few years ago, and in my opinion it just doesn't work very well..It seems I always have to run the loads 2 cycles to get them dry. I always make sure it is not anywhere close to being overloaded, and my vent, I believe is in good shape..it does have a 90 degree bend coming up straight out of the dryer, then a 6 foot length then another 90 degree towards my wall where the vent is located (about 8 feet from that point). There doesn't seem to be any obstructions. Any suggestions?..It is a gas dryer if that makes any difference. Thanks

A dryer with heat that won't dry is almost always an airflow issue.  Disconnect the vent in the back and dry a couple of loads.  If it works properly then you've confirmed a plugged vent.  The best tool for cleaning long vent runs is the Linteater. Turn the dryer on air only, go outside and run the brush through.  You'll be surprised how much lint comes out.
