LG side by side refrigerator reprogramming?

Have an LG LRSC26940TT side by side fridge displaying error code ER DH.  From what I read it required a new control board.  Bought and installed.  Then I read that the fridge needs reprogrammed.  LG refuses to tell me how to do it, saying I should hire a tech - which I may do.  I've googled to find the answer and haven't come up with the answer yet, but I'll keep trying.  

If anyone has any idea please let me know.  Appreciate the help!

Well now lets see what I have: error number 4 (er dh), failure of defrost mode. Defrost sensor don't reach 50f within 2 hours after starting defrost.
Soo... I would say you has a bad defrost heater. Better check it out by removing the service panel and checking continuity on the heater. If the heater is good then the terminator (defrost termination thermostat) is prob bad. If the terminator is fine then either that fancy thermistor done took a dump or you has a bad board. Though the ice box has a fancy control, the heater and defrost terminator are basically the same. Here is a video of how to check a GE ice box defrost problem.
