Ice maker not working

My ice maker stoppped working and wondering about the service tests are a good place to start troubleshooting.  I was thinking of doing 151 and 192 test.  The 151 test is for the fresh food door test, as I understand it unless this is open the ice maker will not work, is this correct?  And 192 test is for ice maker state test.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks

The icemaker works regardless of door position, it is the dispenser augur which will stop if the left door opens. You can dispense ice and pour water from the dispenser all day  long with the right door open.

Pull the bin from the Ice2o enclosure and see if there is any  ice cubes still in the icemaker mold. If it is dry, there may be valve solenoid problems. If there is ice in the icemaker which has not ejected, replace the icemaker assy.

Well it cost me $115 to get fixed.  All it was a bent ice removal finger. It is working fine now.

For future reference I looked up your model number and found that it uses ice maker part # Y13068002.

You could have replaced the ice maker yourself with a new one for what it cost you to get the old one repaired.

Thanks for the part number. My wife finally got tired of waiting for me to fix it and called someone, totally my fault. Just a bummer knowing I could have fixed it or bought a new one. It only took him a half hour.
